Our Beliefs

We believe that great call from Jesus to all of His sheep, "Follow Me," is the essence of Christian thought and practice. We desire to do this in unity as our Lord Jesus prayed for in the garden of Gethsemane.

We believe in the one living and true God. He is the Creator and Preserver of all things; the source of all goodness and beauty, all love and truth. (Deut. 4:39; Psalm 83:18, 93:1; Acts 17:24)

God is God and all He does is a reflection of his loving nature.

We believe God is one and triune: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (John 15:26; 1 Peter 1:2)

The Trinity represents the unity the Father desires in His church.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. His shed blood gives us new life as we confess our sin and by faith receive His forgiveness. (Luke 1:35; 1 John 1:9, 4:9-10)

The great miracle of Christ’s virgin birth made way for the greatest miracles of all--every life regenerated by His blood shed on the cross.

We believe that the Holy Spirit was sent to draw all men to Himself in Christ and to comfort, purify, strengthen, teach, and guide His children. (Luke 12:12; John 16:13; Romans 8:14)

The Holy Spirit desires to lead us with specificity as we follow Christ.

We believe that those who experience life in Christ will seek to follow Jesus continually. (Matt. 6:10, 7:12; Romans 8:14)

Our greatest victories will come as we are covered in the dust of our Rabbi.

We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired revelation of God. (2 Tim. 3:16)

Reading the Word is the best way to know and understand the nature of God.

We believe that progressive sanctification happens as we follow Jesus Christ, that we have been chosen and are being renewed. (Romans 8:5-8; 1 Cor 3:1-3; Gal. 5:13)

As we follow Christ, we become more like Him.

We believe that the gifts of the Spirit are in operation today, that love is the greatest gift, and followers of Christ are known by their love for one another. (John 13:34-35; 1 Cor. 12:4-11, 28-31; Gal. 5:22-23)

Love makes room for the Holy Spirit to move as He wills in and among believers.

We believe that the blood of Jesus saves and baptism is a testimony of this inward work of grace. (John 3:5)

Public profession of faith brings strength, joy, and accountability.

We believe that a great spiritual awakening is coming as Holy Ghost Revival to the World. (Hosea 6:3; Joel 3:23-29; 1 Peter 5:8)

An awakening in the Church will facilitate an end-times harvest of souls into the Kingdom and Jesus will receive the reward of His suffering.
