Are You Living Like Jesus Is Dead?

In the book of Genesis, we see that Jacob was living like Joseph was dead, even though Joseph was alive. In the same way, in the book of Luke, the disciples were living as if Jesus was dead. But Jesus is alive. By comparison, are we Christians today still living as if Jesus is dead? Is the way we live regarding relationships, actions, and decisions reflecting our belief that He is alive?
