Joshua: from Slave to Military Genius

We have many examples through history of people, like an Abraham Lincoln or Ulysses Grant, who faced years of suffering and setbacks, but persevered and became great leaders. In the same way, we have Joshua, born a slave in Egypt, who had to persevere through many years of trials, and who became the leader of Israel. Today, you and I must persevere through the trials and suffering of life, so God can develop us into the leaders He wants us to be.
